Thinking about Our Final Values Video

Michaela and Cole

Positive Comments
We especially like the close up shots of Michaela and Chris because it helped reflect the reactions and the feelings of the characters.
-Ashley T. and Michaela C.
We liked this comment because we like our close ups and thought that they fit well.

We really liked the close up of the chew, because it helped emphasize the idea that they were going to chew the stuff.
- Kelsey and Kaycee
We liked this comment because it was something we planned and weren’t too sure about. But we’re glad it worked and that people liked it.

The first music came in right in the beginning and it was intense.
-Isaiah and Caesar

We especially like the extreme close up of the dip because it helped emphasize the idea that what they were doing was wrong.
-Jake and Alex

You could have had them meet up with Michaela and them smiling or some form of acknowledgement that they're good friends not trying to do anything wrong.
-John and Joselyn

we especially like medium shot that showed all of the students with the can of chew.
-Jacob and Morgan

Suggestions

You could have had them meet up with Michaela and them smiling or some form of acknowledgement that they're good friends not trying to do anything wrong.
-John and Joselyn
We liked this suggestion because it was something that we may have been able to do at some point. We also agree that this would improve our resolution.

Possibly make those go a little slower so that people can read it.
-Ashley T. and Michaela C.

You can add to the resolution by showing what happens when the students go back to class.-Jacob and Morgan
We liked this suggestion because we had thought about doing this but thought our video would be too long. If we could we would definitely add this.

you could make the sound louder so that you could hear the dialogue better. –Jake and Alex

This is an example of an template title, which is used to explain whats goin on in the video and name the person in the video. You might use this kind of title when you want to show what is going on in the video while focusing on the words and title.

overlay

ForBoth f4v's
This is an exampleof an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip over two other clips. to do this, you need to edit the clip you are placing in and put it over a clip that you want to seperate, then cut the second half the first clip to match up on the time line. I decided to put the 2nd clip where i did because it was in a part where the rider wasnt doing any jumps and i could add the onlookers reaction to the first jump.

At the end of the 2nd f4v:
The difference between an overlay and an insert is when you just put the clip over another clip and an insert is when you break up the clip and you put the inserted clip in. An overlay is for a certain effect and a insert is to insert the clip.

Reflection: I think i am getting better at editing videos. I am happy with the way the video turned out and how it looks. I am not so happy about the size of the video, I tryed to fix it but i couldnt do anything about it. On this project i gained a better idea of edditing videos the first one i was kind of lost but now im getting the hang of it. What helped me figure it out was messing up so many times, then i started to learn. My parter helped me alot he taught me the basics.
